Workplace Giving

Workplace giving programs help provide employees with a simple way to donate to Make-A-Wish®.

There are many ways employees can contribute money, including through payroll deductions, joining workplace giving federations and participating in internal fundraising events. Workplace giving not only benefits Make-A-Wish, but also the employees who become engaged in giving back.

Matching Gifts

  1. Obtain a matching gift form and program guidelines from your human resources office.
  2. Fill in the Employee section of the form and send it to Make-A-Wish along with your donation or, if you've made your contribution online, simply complete the form and mail it to:

    The Gulf Tower
    707 Grant Street, 37th Floor
    Pittsburgh, PA 15219

  3. We will complete the form and forward it to your employer's matching gifts office for processing. The company will send its matching donation directly to Make-A-Wish.

Some companies disburse matching gifts on a quarterly or yearly schedule. To reduce administrative expenses, the Foundation will not forward a notice to employees when matching contributions are received. If you ever have a question about your company's matching donation, contact your human resources or matching gifts department.

Find Out If Your Company Participates

You might be able to make your donation go farther. Many companies encourage employees to donate to their favorite charities by matching their contributions, sometimes dollar-for-dollar or more.

To find out if your company will match your donation to Make-A-Wish®, please enter your employer’s name below.

If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer and send it completed and signed with the receipt of your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to this organization may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

If you do not find your employer in this search, please contact your human resources or matching gifts department to see if you can establish a matching gifts program with Make-A-Wish.

United Way

CFC & SECA Campaigns

Federal and state government employees may also contribute to Make-A-Wish. Make-A-Wish is listed under Children 1st America's Charities for national and local members participating in workplace campaigns.

Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is a workplace-giving campaign that includes all federal employees: civilian employees, military personnel and postal workers. The CFC campaign code is #11375.

Pennsylvania state employees can contribute through the State Employee Combined Appeal (SECA) by using the code designated for Make-A-Wish #5000-0025.
