Join wish kid Zack Abel, who was granted his wish for a T-rex dinosaur in 2005, for his third annual Make A Move for Make-A-Wish event to help fulfill the wishes of other children with life-threatening medical conditions. The 5-mile bike ride, run and walk fundraiser, which will include a Chinese Auction, face painting, refreshments, entertainment and an appearance by the Pirate Parrot, will take place on Sunday, July 27, 2014, starting at 9 a.m. at the North Park Boathouse in Allison Park, PA. All proceeds will benefit Make-A-Wish.
New this year, bikers, runner and walkers will be electronically timed via a bib by Miles for Smiles Timing Services. Awards will be given to the top male and female in each category and age group.

Zack created Make A Move for Make-A-Wish in 2012 as not only a way to give back to the organization that gave him hope as he battled cancer as a child, but to also help other kids who are going through what he did. He began with a goal of $3,900 in order to fund one wish. Through his dedication and hard work, Make A Move raised nearly $25,000 in its first year—beyond surpassing his goal of $3,900. Make A Move has now raised more than $65,000 for Make-A-Wish.
