Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Preferred Realty, a leading real estate company in Southwestern Pennsylvania, raised more than $35,000 at their sixth annual Bowl-a-thon to benefit the Make-A-Wish® Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The fundraiser took place on Saturday, October 25 at Meadows Race Track and Casino in Washington, PA.
Since 1981, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Preferred Realty, formerly Prudential Preferred Realty, has raised over $1.1 million dollars for our local Make-A-Wish chapter. Nine wishes will be granted through the funds raised at this year’s bowl-a-thon.
“We continue to support this organization year after year because of the great joy it brings to local children,” says Ron Croushore, Owner and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Preferred Realty. “Our bowl-a-thon is a highly anticipated event amongst our sales associates and their families and, thanks to their continuous efforts and support, we were able to raise more this year than we ever have – enough to grant nine children’s wishes!”
Funds were raised through a combination of fundraising by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Preferred Realty sales associates and staff, donations from local companies, and a silent auction at the event. The top individual fundraisers were Kathy and Nick Kloska, Morgan Bardzil, Danielle Markovic, Sharon Fincham, Marsha Mintz and Mary Olszewski. The top fundraising team was from the BHHS The Preferred Realty Peters Township office with over $13,000 whose members included Linda Carnevali, Kathy Kloska, Nick Kloska, Morgan Bardzil, Rich Dallas, Sharon Fincham, Danielle Markovic, Jennifere Hixenbaugh, Reggie Powell, Linda Powell, Kim Laberdee and Jennifer Williams.
