Since 1992, every Sheetz employee contributes to the company-wide “For The Kidz” program – an event created by two district managers looking for a new way to uphold the Sheetz tradition of giving back to their community. Working with the Salvation Army, children received toys, clothes and other basic necessities. Twenty years later, the program has dramatically expanded and now supports children throughout Sheetz’s six-state footprint.
Since their partnership with Make-A-Wish® began eight years ago, the Sheetz employees have raised $935,650 for our chapter, making nearly 240 wishes possible for children with life-threatening medical conditions. Established in 1952, Sheetz has become one of America’s fastest growing family-owned and operated convenience restaurant chains, with more than 15,000 employees.
