Wishmakers at Work®

Wishmakers at Work program can help kids like Nicholas.

Five-year-old Nicholas, diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, has had three open heart surgeries in his short lifetime. But that doesn’t hold him back from his love for WVU Mountaineer basketball. Generous donors helped Nicholas’ dreams come alive on the court by granting his wish to become a part of this dynamic team.

Wish kids like Nicholas diagnosed with life-threatening conditions endure numerous hospital stays and doctor appointments at a time when they should be hanging out with friends.   By participating in our Wishmakers at Work® program, employees can join together and design an event or campaign that will help restore hope and joy for these kids. Companies large and small have become Wishmakers® or Wishpartners by conducting fun activities like dress down days or bake sales.  Your workplace can, too.

Many corporations will match their employees’ fundraisers dollar for dollar, doubling the contribution to Make-A-Wish®. Wishmakers at Work also offers a terrific opportunity for team building and can often unite employees toward a common goal.
