Make-A-Wish Unveils New Office Location

Official ribbon cutting
Make-A-Wish® is making moves as it celebrates a new location on Friday, September 18. The Punxsutawney regional office, formerly located on West Mahoning Street, will now call home to 109 N. Findley Street. An open house, which included a ribbon cutting ceremony, was held.

During the open house, Rob Cribbs, trustee of the Reynoldsville Eagles, brought presented a check for $11,700 to Punxsutawney Regional Manager Lindsey Herzing.

The Punxsutawney office opened in July 1994, and is one of seven regional offices that serve Make-A-Wish® Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia, which is headquartered in Pittsburgh. Despite the new location, the office will continue to serve the same counties, including Blair, Cameron, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Elk, Huntingdon, Indiana, Jefferson, McKean, and Potter counties.

For more information about Make-A-Wish, how to refer a child or how to become a volunteer, please contact Regional Manager Lindsey Herzing at (814) 938-8888.
