On Thursday afternoon, Julia Wisser's mom took her out of school and said they were going to yet another doctor's appointment. But they weren't. They were going to the Walt Disney World®Resort.
Julia was greeted outside of her school by a princess with a sign that broke the news. Their bags were packed and the car was ready to take the family to the airport.

McKees Rocks boy battling a brain tumor received a special gift over the weekend thanks to the Make-A-Wish. Friends and family cheered as 5-year-old Eddie Nagel ran into his backyard to check out his brand new clubhouse. Eddie loves Mickey Mouse and really wanted his own Mickey Mouse clubhouse. His wish granted by the Make-A-Wish.
“The Make-A-Wish experience is awesome, they do make dreams come true,” said Christina Nagel, Eddie’s mom.

Teagan is just three years old and when she was 14 months old, she was diagnosed with lipoblastoma which is a rare tumor found in infants.
While being treated, Teagan’s oncologist reached out to the Make-A-Wish, which is a program that grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. Volunteers from Make-A-Wish soon contacted the Dennison to set up Teagan’s wish, the chance to meet Minnie Mouse.

EDINBORO — The Edinboro basketball community was in the national spotlight Saturday as the Fighting Scots had their annual Make-A-Wish Day.
The day of giving started at halftime of the women's basketball game as seven-year-old Abigail was granted her wish to travel to Hawaii. She is a native of Warren and has been diagnosed with a life-threatening seizure disorder.

In October, Skylyn won the USA National Miss Pennsylvania Princess pageant in Pittsburgh for her age group. She'll keep the title throughout 2016. Inspired by her role, she held a charity fundraiser pageant for Make-A-Wish on April 23.
