Kanawha County Law Enforcement Batting for Wishes

Eleven-year-old wish kid Dakota of Charleston threw out the first pitch at the Guns ‘n’ Hoses West Virginia Law Enforcement, Fire Departments and E.M.S. Softball Tournament on Saturday and Sunday, October 4 and 5, 2014. Dakota threw the first pitch to Rex Eggleton, St. Albans Firefighter/EMT, who is a member of the Guns 'n' Hoses committee and worked with St. Albans' area elementary schools to organize a Penny War that raised over $1,700 for the event.
