Wish families took to the road at the 17th Annual Truck Convoy for Wishes on May 6, 2018, at the Battlefield Harley-Davidson in Gettysburg, PA.
Each year, local truckers, trucking companies and community members come together to help raise funds to grant wishes for children living with critical illnesses.
The first-ever convoy featured 18 trucks and raised approximately $6,000. In 2017, this fantastic event raised $158,400. None of this would be possible without the full support of the community.
Thanks to the efforts of event organizer Sherri Keller, roughly 162 truck drivers, volunteers, wish families and the Gettysburg community, $176,000, was raised at this year's convoy. Make-A-Wish® would like to also thank Battlefield Harley-Davidson for generously allowing us to host the event on their property every year. Again, we can not thank everyone enough for helping to transform the lives of children facing critical illnesses, one wish at a time.
